WINMARK WINES

We have a very special wine for you from our friend Karin Adcock, vigneron of Winmark Wines in Broke. After founding Pandora Australia, Karin left Sydney and headed to reinvigorate the former Pooles Rock property to be the newly named Winmark Wines. The restoration was intense, only to be hit by the bush fires of 2020 which destroyed the vintage to smoke taint. Quicky followed by the Covid restrictions closing the estate to visitors over 2020 and 2021, the floods of 2022 again did their damage. In 2023 Winmark Wines was named Cellar Door of the Year, Top 50 Vineyards of Australia, Five Star Winery by Hallidays, Gourmet Travellers Best Accommodation at a Winery and Trophy for Best Chardonnay! We are delighted to include the very special Icon 72 Chardonnay, Winmark's premium label, for your enjoyment .

AUSSIE ARK

We delighted in our time with the Tasmanian Devils this year supporting Aussie Ark. This year they celebrated the birth of the 500TH Tasmanian Devil Joey, named Milo the Milestone Devil! Aussie Ark are instrumental in saving the species from extinction with their 400 hectare predator proof sanctuary. We hope you love the devils as much as we do, they are a key part of Australian Native Wildlife and are fighting back from disease and extinction.

MARGAN WINE

Margan, also located in Broke, is a family business with Andrew and Lisa at the helm. With more than 22 awards and 25 trophies, the reviews of their wines, sustainable practices and their exquisite restaurant are outstanding. However the accolades are just the beginning, when you get to know the Margan family you quickly learn that they are genuine, passionate, very intelligent and utterly committed to producing outstanding wines and their menu is based on produce they grow onsite. Andrew has produced over 40 vintages and makes wines of structure, balance, elegance and texture. We hope you enjoy their award winning 2022 Fordwich Hill Shiraz.

 

TARONGA

We support Taronga and love learning of all their strategies to protect Australian Native Animals and we were delighted to be a major donar to the Stopping Illegal Wildlife Trade. A black market industry worth more then $23Million per year, our poor Australian Native animals are found stuffed inside posted items, being sold overseas. Our lizards and snakes are prime targets, and the funds Australian Power Equipment provided are enough for a second AI scanner to detect wildlife before it leaves our shores. A lolly snake is the only thing that belongs in plastic packaging!
